Software Engineer - Level IV (ASP.NET)
Location : MA-Boston
Duration : 6 - 12 months
Qualifications:
• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
• Ability to communicate clearly & effectively
• Organization and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at various levels of managements
• Experience with systems development lifecycle methodology
• Experience with systems change management
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment
• Strong design and estimation skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Reliable, flexible, thorough, self-motivated and ability to adhere to new technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
• Fidelity Experience
Technical Skills Required:
• ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET, HTML, JavaScript, VBscript, Dynamic HTML, XML)
• Component & web-based technologies (.NET Assemblies, HTML, XML, XSL, IIS, VBScript, JavaScript)
• .NET application development - C# (primary) and VB.NET(nice to have)
• 5-10 years solid relational database and development experience, including:
o Oracle PL/SQL & Oracle database design, stored procedures, etc…
o Sybase Transact SQL & Sybase database design, stored procedures, (nice to have)
• Database Tools & Modeling (Rapid SQL, MS Visio)
• Source Code Control (ClearCase)
Technical Skills Helpful:
• Financial Services experience
• Networking experience
• Experience with market data systems and Reuter's DACS
