Client is Cargill in Minnetonka, MN

 

Project Description:

SQA Test Analyst needed for testing the upgrade of approx. 525 Crystal Reports to the latest version of Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) reporting environment.

 

SQA Test Analysts Skills:

-          Minimum 5 years of experience in the role of Software Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Tester

-          Experience in creating and executing test plans

-          Experienced in identifying and creating test scenarios and executing manual functional tests

-          Experienced in Quality Center for test case creation, execution, defect tracking and Requirement Traceability

-          Ability to work independently and to drive to results and timelines

-          Background/familiarity with Crystal Reports or similar reporting system

-          Familiarity with the following testing types (functional, integration, error, security)

-          Exceptional overall written and oral communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

-          Review functional requirements

-          Designing, writing, reviewing and executing test plans

-          Designing, writing, and executing test  cases and procedures that define specific test criteria and the expected results to be achieved
Perform risk analysis, as needed, along with proposed mitigation strategies

-          Interface and work closely with development team to call attention to problems, resolving problems and/or assist in recreating them

-          Produce testing metrics to project manager and SQA manager (test execution and defect tracking).

 

Required:

-          3+ years  working with HP Quality Center

-          Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering (4+ years equivalent professional experience considered)

-          Excellent oral and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

-          Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach
