We are looking for Client is looking for a clinical data analyst (specialist)

Location: Boston or New York

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Open

 The work is with a large Healthcare equipment giant and is a cutting edge research program. Here are the job requirements for this profile:
 
·        Minimum of 5 years of clinical data analysis experience
·        Bachelor's degree in health sciences or information management, Master's preferred
·        Extensive knowledge of Electronic Health record systems in acute care setting, and health information systems in general
·        Expertise in standard clinical terminologies and coding systems for major modalities
·        Experience with vocabulary browsers and authoring tools
·        Knowledge on McKesson EHR
·        Indepth experience in the field of healthcare informatics and database management, experience working with structured data
·        Good knowledge of APCs, DRGs, Casemix Index, ICD-9-CM, and CPT4 Coding
·        Understanding of HL7 standards
·        Working knowledge of SQL and relational database systems
·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
