Role:  Oracle DBA with Performance Tuning
Location :  Boston, MA
Duration : 3-6+ Months

 

NOTE :ONLY LOCALS  (HOT HOT HOT)

 

Responsibilities:
Monitor databases events and performance using OEM tools
Provide detailed database performance metrics
Create repeatable and automated processes to collect the performance metrics
Tune database performance including SQL and system parameter configurations
Provide backup and recovery strategy and plans for multiple production databases
Provide database implementation, maintenance and operation
Provide support to developers, testers, and customers
Work with other teams to promote database changes
Investigate database user issues, database problems and potential database issues
Be able to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Configure different types of databases in compliance with industry's best practices
Provide database capacity planning and trend analysis
Effectively communicate with management team, team lead and other DBAs
Oracle 11g RAC DBA experience is a plus

 

Required Skills:
Oracle database performance monitoring and performance tuning experience
SQL and PL/SQL
Analytical problem-solving and technical documentation skills
Excellent communication skills
Great learning and research abilities
