Looking for a strong development DBA to support multiple database initiatives ranging from mission critical OLTP databases to backend analytical databases, from design to deployment, as part of the database development team. Will be working on multiple projects in different phases of the SDLC. Primary focus of the application DBA is to support application teams to deliver highly optimized solutions incorporating replication, encryption/security, highly tuned queries and robust physical database implementation.

Top 3 technical skills needed: 

1. Very strong DB2/UDB/AIX DBA with hands-on experience in database performance tuning, SQL query optimization and AIX/Shell/Perl scripting for database automation.

3. Strong working knowledge of DB2 tools, AIX/Linux OS, Database encryption, replication/HADR, XML, DB2/Java and Purescale or other clustering.

·        Minimum of 5 years of clinical data analysis experience
·        Bachelor's degree in health sciences or information management, Master's preferred
·        Extensive knowledge of Electronic Health record systems in acute care setting, and health information systems in general
·        Expertise in standard clinical terminologies and coding systems for major modalities
·        Experience with vocabulary browsers and authoring tools
·        Knowledge on McKesson EHR

Analyst will work with our project team consisting of internal IT and business personnel to work on master data pertaining to Manufacturing.  We are converting 6 to 8 sites in 2013 from legacy systems to SAP.  Data will be extracted from those legacy systems and populated into templates.  This role is to work with the data, team and business groups to improve the quality, insure the completeness and keep to a specific timeline.  Data will be anything from BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, WIP, Raw Materials, Finish Goods and other data related to SAP.

 

This individual will also have the chance to travel with the team during our go-live support for the locations. 

 

EXPERIENCE
2 to 4 years experience in SAP
More than 5 years' experience working with Microsoft Access/Excel
Experience in SAP MM/PP modules – Knowledge of the data structures

 

PREFERRED SKILLS 
Must be able to take direction from others
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Microsoft tools (Access/Excel)
Well spoken.  Will be working with folks from directors/managers down to shop floor personnel

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate business requirements/direction into master data completion/quality
Responsible for multiple data files for the conversion
Must keep to specific timelines
Develop project documentation for data templates/processes for updating and supporting project
If necessary, create test plans, and perform unit and system testing for data loads

 

OTHER SKILLS, PREFERENCES OR RESPONSIBLITIES (LIST HERE)
Willingness to learn.  Important to understand that Pactiv has a way of doing things and custom process that meet the business needs
Ability to travel.  If the individual can learn Pactiv's way, there is the opportunity to travel with the team to the go-lives and support those plants from both a data and functional process
Spanish would be helpful ( 1 plant is based in Mexico)
