Position: UI developers.

Location : NYC, NY

Duration: 6 months+

Rate : $55/hr (all Inclusive) on C2C

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs)            :              

Overall 5+ years of experience with 4+ years of exp as User Interface developer.

 

Necessary Skills                :              

•             Minimum 4+ years of exp in UI development.

•             Overall 5+ year exp.

•             Knowledge of Agile methodology.

•             Good communication skills.

•             Excellent presentation skills & and attention to detail

 

Desired Skills                     

•             Expert-level knowledge of Javascript and DOM scripting.

•             Expert-level knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, ExtJ, JQuery, YUI, DOJO and other similar UI libraries.

•             Expertise in cross browser/platform compatibility issues

•             Proven in the implementation of user interface models for standalone applications and web applications.

•             Experience in mobile web UI design and rich internet applications (RIA) is desirable.

•             Ability to work independently as well as with various size teams.

Roles & Responsibilities                :              

 

•             Represent the “User Experience”, translate customer requirements into defined specifications and work with the Engineering team to develop the right product.

•             Develop and maintain the UI portion of software product interface by working with Information architect, UI designer, product management, business analyst, software developers, and architects.

•             Work closely with designer to implement user experience.

•             Work with development team using Agile development methodology.

 

Generic Managerial Skills              :              

•             Able to plan/track tasks/activities

 

Education            :               BS in computer science, advanced degree in human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field preferred.
