Our Client is looking for a Software Developer – Camas, WA. This is a 6+ contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
THE PROJECT:
Develop automated software tools for verifying next generation cellular phone performance and streamlining lab and field testing.
Develop familiarity with carrier-specific acceptance test requirements and work with domestic and overseas development teams to assist with field problem resolution.
Be available to work onsite (carrier, certification lab and/or technology partner facility) to assist with product testing, evaluation and certification activities.
Assist with local and national area field testing as needed.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Must have experience in the following areas:
- Visual C++/C#
- COM/API programming
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have experience working in a group setting.
BSEE/CE/CS + 4 years experience or equivalent developing PC applications
Prior experience with cellular phone technologies and protocols (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS, CDMA, MMS, IMPS, etc.) is highly desired as is any prior experience developing software test tools for device protocol communication systems.
Prior experience using scripting languages such as Perl, JavaScript, VBA, is desirable.
Prior experience developing applications using mobile operating systems such as Android and BREW is desirable.
Familiarity with RF electronics and test equipment
