Client is looking for a Financial Sybase/Java Developer – New York, NY. This is a 12+ month's contract position.
 
We have an immediate opening for a Sybase/Java Developer. The consultant must have worked in Financial Services - preferably Risk Management.
 
- Application Development for Risk Management and Support for Risk Managers (Business Users)
- 40% effort for Support.
* Strong Sybase skills
* Involves answering to Risk Managers on providing answers and numbers to various request such as verifying Margin data among other queries
* Working with business users to process requests from clients
 
- Remaining effort for Development
* Strong Java Development skills
 
- Financial Services experience is a must
* Good understanding of financial instruments
* Especially in Risk Management, past experience in Margining is highly desired
