We are looking for Programmer/Analyst II with Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and/or VB/ASP.net exp, Albany NY. This is a 1 year to 18 months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates only.
Number of Positions: 2 (two)
Description:
1. Six (6) years of professional experience developing multi-user computer applications, where at least 50% of your time was spent using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and/or VB/ASP.net , including the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or greater suite of application development tools.
2. Five (5) years of professional experience, where at least 50% of your time was spent developing multi-user computer applications using Oracle 9.x or greater database management tools
TECHNICAL experience: SCORED ON A SCALE OF 0 TO 5.
Microsoft Visual Basic: professional experience developing multi-user computer applications, where at least 50% of your time was spent using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and/or VB/ASP.net, including the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or greater suite of application development tools.
Oracle 9.X : professional experience, where at least 50% of your time was spent developing multi-user computer applications using Oracle 9.x or greater database management tools
Bridge And Transportation Related Experience: Three (3) or more years is preferred of professional experience developing information systems to track the condition, inspection, maintenance and/or construction of transportation related infrastructure such as highways, bridges and/or related structures and facilities
Personal Interview: Interpersonal, communications, organizational, project management and leadership skills
