Position Description:   DC II -Websphere support

 

Skills Required:          

 

• 4-5 years Skilled in WAS 6.0, 6.1 installation, tuning and troubleshooting
• Knowledgeable in the IHS/Apache Web server installation and tuning including plug-in config –
• 4-5 years Knowledgeable in the AIX and LINUX operating systems –
• 4-5 years Experience in configuring and troubleshooting WebSphere application server in a multiple tier (firewall/load balancer) environment –
• 4-5 years Scripting, automation knowledge, portal experience,
• 1-2 years ESB/Websphere process server a definite plus Knowledge of Wily Introscope toolset

 

Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Identification of components in the WebSphere application server space, Migration, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of WebSphere application server instances Configure WebSphere application server including global security, MQ, Database and CICS transaction gateway Participate in load tests to assess statistics successful migration
