This is for my direct client opening for C++/C # Embedded Consultant - Waterbury, CT. This is a 6 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates only.

 

Description:

The Embedded Consultant will design, develop, test, and support our software applications for the Industrial Process Control Industry. Consultant must be familiar with design and development of MS Windows based software to monitor and collect data from remote process control instrumentation. Our software is designed to allow communication over various Serial, IP, and/or Wireless communication lines.

 

Requirements:

- Software Design Experience, Proficiency in OOP/D methods, witin a Microsoft Widows development environment
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, VB, MFC, ATL, COM/DCOM, ODBC

- Working knowledge of .NET Framework Development

- Working knowledge of IP, UDP, TCP Protocols

- Experience with HMI, UI and Ease of Use Designs a plus

- Experience with OPC a plus

- Requires a B.S. in Computer Science, or a related area, and at least 5 years of experience in developing software for Microsoft Windows.

            For this client be sure all the skills should be reflect in your projects as per skill matrix, if you are mentioning in the skill matrix example: in VB, MFC, ATL,  If you have 4 yrs experience, it should be reflect in your project also. They are too stick about resume. We just got a bad experience with client.
