Project/ Role Overview:

n  MQ/Message Broker Support resource for a 6 months+ consulting opportunity in a 24X7 environment.

n  Candidates must have 4-7 years’ experience  providing MQ/Message Broker support.

 

Responsibilities:

n  Provide daily onsite support  and  on call support during weeknights and weekends

n  Perform Clustering, , deploy code, Monitor and troubleshoot during deployment

n  Provide Production support

 

Technical Skills:

n  MQ/Websphere Message Broker Support 7.0

n  korn shell scripting

n  Unix

n  WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR)

 

phone then in person interview.  soft skills are not as important this is a purely technical role.  they will be answering tickets via email support.  will be on a support rotation between the hours of 8AM-9PM- some off hours support required.
