Job Title : C++ Linux Programmer
Location :  Houston ,TX
Duration : 1 Year Contract

Required Skills :
C++ / Linux Programmer Analyst
Write programs using C++ that perform the function of testing other software (firmware) that have been written. These programs are part of an automated testing program (test engine) that automates the testing process for new or updated firmware for various models of enterprise server storage products that are going thru the R&D lifecycle.
Work with the Firmware programmers to determine root-cause-analysis of any failures that are found when the test engine runs - i.e. is the problem with the firmware, with the test program itself, etc.
Provide updates to an existing API library using C++ that provides a "translater" interface layer between the smaller test programs (that have been written in C++) and the test engine.

Skills/experience:
C++ (at least 3 years of experience)
Object Oriented Design concepts
C++ STL knowledge
Linux - (at least 2 years of experience) SVN – or equivalent code repository knowledge Quality Assurance / Software Testing (ideal, but not required) Strong Problem Solving Clear and Effective Communication Application debugging Experience working for an OEM is a plus Server storage hardware experience is a plus
