{Ajax-DOT-NET-FAQ} UI Developer / IN

Position: UI Developer

1+ Year assignment

Indianapolis, IN

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

·           Must be a first class web developer

o   CSS, HTML etc. (bonus if they are familiar with HTML5/CSS3)

o   JavaScript knowledge (JavaScript application development).  At a minimum needs to be able to make the back end calls.  The client site applications will be calling web services, so familiarity/experience with RESTful web service implementations is critical.

o   Development in an agile environment – particularly SCRUM

o   Needs to be comfortable in a quality assurance and automated environment

§  MoinMoin – for documentation

§  Jenkins and Selenium – for quality control

§  Bitbucket – for document and source code control

o   Mashup centric – JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) and RDF (Resources Description Framework – Semantic Web Standards)

o   Pluses:

§  Experience with the Python programming language

§  Experience developing RESTful web services and Ajax client-side applications

§  Familiarity with the Open Source community

§  OAuth (Open Authentication) – for security/authentication

§  MoinMoin

§  Infogami

§  WebPIE (Web-scale Parallel Interface Engine)

§  SUPER bonus points if we understand the semantic web – not required but wonderful
