We are looking for a Sr. Informatica Developer for one of my Direct Clients

 

Title:  Sr. Informatica Developer

Location: Mountain view, CA

Duration: Long Term

Start Date: Immediate

 ·         F2F is must.

 ·         Local is preferred. But not must if candidate can come for face to face with own expenses.

 

Job Description:

As a ETL developer, you will design and develop custom data delivery systems (incl. DML, DDL, Informatica mapping, Oracle SQL etc.) , and help in the delivery of large scale business intelligence initiatives.

 

Skills:

Informatica 8.x, Oracle PL/SQL, Data Warehouse, Requirement Gathering, AppWorx Scheduling tool, ETL Design, UNIX, PVCS, Remedy 7.

 

Required Experience:

·           Minimum 9+ years of experience in IT industry.

·           At least 5 years experience in systems integration.

·           At least 7 years experience in designing and developing ETL using Informatica (Informatica 8.x.x).

·           Solid experience with Oracle & Informatica performance tuning.

·           Excellent experience with database technologies and RDBMS such as Oracle

 

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or Computer Science

·         7+ years of Informatica ETL development including error handling and validation routines.

·         7+ years experience with Oracle development including high level of expertise in SQL, stored procedures, indexes, partitioning, database design and tuning. Strong in Oracle/PL/SQL.

·         9+ years experience on a data warehouse team with strong understanding of ETL processes and standards

·         Proficient with creation and modification of UNIX Shell scripts.

·         Ability to design multidimensional data warehouse structures such as star schemas, cubes etc.

·         Strong business and analytical skills including direct interaction with business end users for requirements analysis

·         Responsible for mentoring other team members (e.g. discussion with offshore team etc).

·         Able to produce business results in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent oral and written communications skills.

·         Knowledge of Remedy 7 or SOX processes will be added advantage.
