Mandatory Skills:

J2EE development experience 
WCS 6.x or 7 development experience 
Experience with Struts and J2EE Frameworks
Experience with Catalog module/subsystem
Experience with Order module/subsystem
Experience with Catalog/Order data model
Experience with WCS Controller commands
Experience in front-end development, including JSP, JSTL, Ajax, Java and HTML

Should have done at least 2WCS enterprise implementation in the capacity of Developer/Lead

Nice to have skills:

1. SOLR
2. Core Metrics

3. MQ
4. Messaging module

Title: Websphere Commerce Admin

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $70/hr

 

Job Description:

 

·             Install \ configure \ maintain the Websphere Commerce \ WAS application Server

·             Experience in Websphere Commerce Upgrade and Migration

·             Scale up and deploy in a WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment environment

·             Perform ongoing site and store administration and maintenance tasks

·             Use administrative tools

·             Set up and control WebSphere Commerce site security

·             Load data into WebSphere Commerce database

·             Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tracing

·             Apply fixes and fix packs

·             Install feature packs and enable optional features

·             Deploy and update customized code

·             Monitor and tune system performance of Websphere Commerce Server

·             Analyzing Logs and helping team in reviewing error

·             Must be proficient with Unix Script, Perl Script, Linux \ AIX
