Location: Boca Raton, FL.
Duration:6+ Months
It's a 6 month contract with strong possibility for extensions.
The development in this role will be done using a proprietary language, called ECL, which is based on object oriented programming principles.
Candidates with C/C++ backgrounds, including strong relational database experience with Oracle or SQL, are highly attractive to the hiring manager. Please send me any profiles you have available.
Description of Role/Responsibilities:
seeking a Software Engineer for a long term contract opportunity in Palm Beach County. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with an object oriented programming language and a strong understanding of data and relational databases.
Develop and design ECL queries. Responsible for implementing requirements using ECL language.
Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
o 2-4 years experience required
Responsibility level
o Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Knowledge and experience using ECL Language (will train)
o Knowledge of computer software, C or C++ or Java and SQL, etc (Required)

o Design, build or maintain ECL queries
o Perform ECL query updates
o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
