We are looking for Java Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 18 Months

Responsibilities:

·         Applies specialized knowledge of one or more areas of business process, technology solutions, and methods to drive technology optimization and architecture recommendations.  This includes the breadth of technology expertise supporting:

o    Banking

o    Insurance

o    Record-Keeping (Client Servicing / Workflow / Payments / Annuities / Payroll)

o    Client Relationship Management (CRM)

o    Web / Portal / Services

·         Build and maintain the Reference Architectures / Target State Architectures and ensure linkages to other architecture models

·         Develop and drive acceptance of the enterprise view of applications to the Target State Technology landscape

·         Identify application related barriers to effective end to end business operations and technology solution designs

·         Govern conformance of the projects and applications in new technology solutions and usage policies and standards

·         Provides direction in identifying technology optimization recommendations for solution opportunities supported by quantified business case and impact

·         Be a recognized thought leader and advisor in evaluating and communicating the business value and technology implications of initiatives

·         Maintain key technical architectural frameworks like the Application Portfolio Model, Target State Architectures and Roadmaps, ensuring their continued relevance for evaluation and planning

·         Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand and implement the business strategies for the organization.

·         Collaborate closely with solution architects and developers to define and implement effective and efficient solutions to business challenges and opportunities.

·         Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture to align the application technology strategy of the division with the strategy for the organization

·         Develop R&D technology frameworks to prove concepts which can be elevated to broad use
