Position: QA tester

Location: Johns Creek, GA ( IN PERSON INTERVIEW)

Duration: 12months

 

National Atlanta based retail organization is looking to add an Automation tester to their team for a 12 month assignment. In this role you will be responsible for testing applications utilizing QTP. You will be the onsite go to person for QTP knowledge.

- key - Strong QTP experience. Good Selenium. They will be eventually moving from QTP to Selenium - exp doing this would be a plus! Have little automation exp on team so strong exp is critical!

 

Required Skills:

•          Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

•          Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•          The ability to work independently with limited direction.

•          The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations.

•          Demonstrated experience in Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development techniques.

•          Ability to convert Business and System requirements into positive and negative testcases.

Required Technical Skills:

•          5 to 7 years experience in testing.

•          Hands on experience with test automation in Continuous Integration Testing (Selenium in JUnit frame work preferred).

•          Strong QTP and some Selenium experience.

•          Experience with open source tools (i.e., Selenium, Waitr, Jmeter, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

•          Test-driven development(TDD) and/or Behavior Driven development (BDD) experience in Agile.

•          Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Ant, etc.).

•          Experience in a Java/Messaging environment.

Description

Summary: The main function of the SAP FI resource is to apply technical expertise for the most complex SAP FI application development projects. Apply the most advanced SAP FI process and technology to guide solution designs to ensure it fulfills business requirements. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with process partners to have an in-depth understanding of their operations. Review and provide counsel for FI business case analysis efforts. Provide guidance/recommendations to process owners and prepare demonstrations to support those recommendations. Actively participate with project teams on system configuration, testing, and development as it relates to the FI space. Investigate and propose leading edge methodologies and/or technology solutions. Skills: Must have performed a minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations as an FI resource in large organizations. Must have also performed a minimum of two implementations in SAP banking transactions, including integration with third party systems for transmissions to and from banks. Banking skills must include exposure in EDI (not FTP) interface for lockbox, ACH/wires, electronic bank statements, and XML files for AP payments. Candidate must also have in-depth experience in FI submodules such as FI-AA (primary), FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-GL. Experience in integration points with other modules such as CO, SD, MM, and PP as well as interfaces using EDI. Candidate must possess strong communication skills and should be comfortable with customer-facing role for the purpose of blueprinting, gathering requirements, UAT, etc. Also must be able to troubleshoot a complex system with 20+ company codes that utilize multiple processes for the same general transaction purposes. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a field such as computer science, computer engineering or finance related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. 10 - 15 years SAP FI experience required.
