Position Overview:
Business Intelligence Administrator for Microstrategy and SAS to manage systems with large data volumes and a user base that is hundreds strong.

This position will be based in Port Washington, NY.

Overall Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience. Experience in one tool is sufficient for a candidate willing to learn.
Microstrategy:
Familiarity with creation of Attributes, Facts, Metrics, Logical Tables
Strong core report development experience, including tuning reports for performance
Expertise in database instance configuration, user setup, security roles, governing settings
Experience with Command Manager and Distribution Services a plus
CBIC / MCE Certification preferred

SAS:
Creation and maintenance of Metadata libraries involving external databases
Management of multiple Unix servers
ACL based security on a complex folder structure
Administration of 100's of users through groups and custom roles
BI Object creation and maintenance, including Stored Processes, Information Maps, and OLAP Cubes
Information Delivery Portal Administration
Management of Web Midtier, Weblogic and Websphere a plus
SAS programming required to allow for full user support
Marketing Automation or other vertical solution administration preferred
Enterprise Miner and SPDS Experience a plus

Qualifications:
• At least 3 Years administering Microstrategy, required
  At leaset 3 years SAS 9.x environment, optional
• Expert level understanding of SQL, including performance tuning, understanding complex queries, creating and maintaining views
• Experience working with large volumes of data, Sybase IQ preferred
• Detail oriented, highly motivated individual
• Excellent communication and user support skills
• Process Improver
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a quick learner

Senior Teamcenter PLM Support

·         8-10 years of experience on PLM products preferably on Teamcenter suite of products

·         Hands-on experience on PLM Support, Upgrades and Integrations projects is required.

·         Working experience on support mechanism, SLA management and risk mitigation

·         Experience on PLM Configuration, customization, CAD Integration projects is required

·         Should be able to document the issue, troubleshoot for the possible options

·         Collaborate with technical and functional team and come up with process solutions.

·         Should be able to coordinate with various external stakeholders to resolve the issues.

·         Excellent communication and customer management skills

·         Knowledge of CAD applications  especially Solid works would be added advantage.

·         BMID & ITK Customization and Team center scripting languages expertise will be added advantage.

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) developer

 

•        At least 2 years of experience working as a technical lead for an Oracle application development group

•        At least 5 years of experience with Mantas

•        At least 7 years of experience with Oracle forms and reports

•        At least 7 years of experience with Oracle database, SQL/PL-SQL

•        Solid background with UNIX system and should be very comfortable with writing shell scripts

•        Knowledge of .Net, Informatica, PERL, or Java a plus

•        Familiarity with XML and web services is good to have but not mandatory

•        Some knowledge of the brokerage industry is a must for this position

•        Experienced Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) developer needed to lead development efforts for large team working on project and maintenance activities.

•        The candidate must have experience being a technical lead and with assigning and managing work efforts for a development group.

•        The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting the OFSAA AML, Fraud Detection, and Trading/Brokerage Compliance platform formerly known as Mantas.

•        The candidate should also have extensive development expertise with Oracle forms and PL/SQL databases, including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages.

•        A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position.

•        The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with minimal direction from senior management.

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

•        Design, develop, analyze and implement OFSAA AML, Fraud Detection, and Trading/Brokerage Compliance scenarios

•        Maintain and support data staging and ingestion processes

•        Design, develop, analyze and implement Oracle forms and reports, database applications and database objects

•        Work with other leaders of the Oracle management team to manage work demand and coordinate assignments across the development teams

•        Provide regular status on all work activities that ensures management is up-to-date on all issues and risks

•        Provide technical lead direction on overall architecture and strategy of the current Oracle systems

•        Provide leadership on setting and maintaining development and documentation standards

•        Assist team members with questions and decision making

•        Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications

•        Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines

•        Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects

•        Develop database procedures and packages

•        Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PL-SQL tuning methodologies

•        Develop UNIX shell scripts
