Location: boston, MA

· Ideally 9 to 12 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in project management
· At least 1 year prior experience in managing teams working on eCommerce, CMS projects
· Proficient in Agile / scrum development methodology
· Possess strong relationship building skills, excellent communication and problem solving skills. Ability to negotiate, present arguments, facts and figures to gain the support of the intended audience both in oral and written communication.
Desired Skills:
· Nice to have a CSM, PMP certifications
· Prior experience in working with Publishing or Media clients would be nice to have.
Project Details:
The client is a leading publishing form. They are going through a major revamp and re-architecture of their key eCommerce platforms. The objective of the projects is to make the current websites more optimal, attract greater number of users and generate better revenue, create new websites and create new channels of revenue generation.
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
· Reports to the client's IT Director of eCommerce application
· Liaison with various stakeholders including business, development, QA, management team
· Plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities related to all assigned projects and releases.
· Establishes and maintains appropriate metrics for measuring project success. Tracks project and iteration burn-down.
· Identifies project risks, determines strategies to address them and manage the risks throughout the project.
· Coordinates and leads the project team(s) in regular iteration and release planning meetings
· Responsible for updating and maintaining project management processes
· Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules and resolve technical/operational issues.
· Defines and executes communication plans as necessary
· Provides regular updates to senior management on project progress.
